PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Rehabilitation of 75 Public Square in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, converted the historic 1914 Cleveland Electrical Illuminating Company building into a mixed-use building for 143 apartments, residential amenities, and two ground-level retail spaces. The scope of work included the comprehensive demolition of all interior spaces and systems to accommodate new demising walls and finishes. The historic marble-clad elevator lobby on the first floor and corridors on the upper floors were retained, along with two elevators and interior egress stairways. The building's original brick and terra cotta exterior was meticulously restored, with lighting reinstalled along the bracketed cornice to illuminate the upper floors.
